DESCRIPTION:All IEEE members including students\, young professionals\, and
senior members as well as Non-IEEE members that are interested in learnin
g more about the organization are welcome to attend. The In-Virto Fertiliz
ation Industry has grown substantially since the early 1990’s. The conce
pt has grown from an infant technology to a service that’s included in c
orporate benefits packages. Since the systems in these facilities are stil
l relatively new for most designers\, this presentation will discuss backu
p power needs for IVF operations and how resilient they really need to be.
This talk will consider how important equipment\, such as HVAC\, and IVF
operations are handled on backup power systems during a power outage.\n\nF
or a $10.00 fee for IEEE members and $20.00 fee for non-IEEE members\, att
endees can enjoy the technical presentation and refreshments. An assortmen
t of Mexican appetizers and dishes will be provided along with a selection
  of beer\, wine\, and cocktails.\n\nSpeaker(s): Laurence Jones\, \n\nAgend
