DESCRIPTION:Vishwakarma is known as the divine Engineer since the Puranic a
 ge. As a mark of reverence the Lord Vishwakarma is not only worshiped by t
 he engineering community but also by all other professionals. According to
  Hindu mythology Lord Vishwakarma is the builder of all the gods’ palace
 s\, and the designer of all celestial vehicles and weapons.\n\nVishwakarma
  Puja was celebrated on 17th September\, 2021 in Uttaranchal Institute of 
 Technology\, Uttaranchal University with great fervor. The occasion was ce
 lebrated by organizing a Puja which was performed by Hon’ble Chancellor 
 Shri. Jitender Joshi\, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna\, Direc
 tor UIT Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Dayal Pandey and HOD-ME\, Mr Sanjeev Kumar Joshi\
 , HOD-ECE\, Mr Devender Singh\, HOD-CE\, Mr. Avdesh Chandramauli\, HOD-CSE
 \, Ms. Meenakshi Memoria along with other faculty members and technical st
 aff in the University workshop. Students of the Uttaranchal Institute of T
 echnology also attended the Vishwakarma Puja.\n\nHon’ble Chancellor Utta
 ranchal University\, Shri Jitendtra Joshi graced the occasion with his pre
 sence and extended his hearty greetings to the student\, faculty members a
 nd staff members. He further stated in his message that Lord Vishwakarma b
 lesses those who respect and worship their tools and remain true to their
