 nda: \nWelcome and Announcements: Chairman\, Vice Chairman\, and Secretary
  welcomed all the members present in the meeting.\n\nAgenda Item #1: Ratif
 ication of minutes of the previous meeting.\n\nDiscussion: The minutes of 
 the previous meeting were read by Dr. Teena Sharma and with the consent of
  members present in the meeting\, the minutes were approved.\n\nAgenda Ite
 m #2: Proposal to organize IEEE CIS Expert Lecture Series\n\nDiscussion: A
 s per the discussion held in Agenda item #2 of the minutes of the meeting 
 held on December 6th\, 2021\, the lectures schedule was finalized with the
  consent of members present in the meeting. Further\, Prof. Nishchal K. Ve
 rma suggested including the notification of the IEEE CIS Expert Lectures S
 eries to be held on the chapter’s webpage.\n\nFurther\, the discussion w
 as held to reach a wider audience by emailing and contacting local as well
  as other colleges. Prof. Brajesh Varshney and Dr. Aparna Dixit gave their
  consent to organize the lecture series for advertisement and registration
  of attendees for issuing the e-certificates.\n\nAction Item: The final le
 ctures schedule and required data for the advertisement of the talk like n
 ame &amp; affiliation of the speaker\, photo\, bio\, email\, and abstract will
  be collected. The registration of attendees for issuing the e-certificate
 s needs to be done. The advertisement among colleges\, chapters\, student 
 branches\, etc. will be done by all the ExCom members to their network.\n\
 nAgenda Item #3: Proposal to organize workshops/conferences/challenges\n\n
 Discussion: Dr. Aparna Dixit proposed to organize workshops/conferences/ch
 allenges under the banner of CIS Chapter\, IEEE UP Section (CIS11) for stu
 dents and the research community on open real-world problems. Prof. Vrijen
 dra Singh and Prof. Nishchal Verma appreciated her proposal and requested 
 her to prepare a draft so that this can be discussed in the next ExCom mee
 ting to plan the further course of action.\n\nAction Item: Dr. Aparna Dixi
 t gave her consent to present a draft of the proposal in the next ExCom me
 eting.\n\nThe meeting was adjourned with a vote of thanks at 07:00 PM IST.
