This was a major non-technolog ical event of the faculty of engineering and IEEE Pakistan. This event was attended by all executive committee and extended executive committee memb ers along with (newly admitted and currently enrolled) students of enginee ring. The key agenda of the event was to provide a platform for students t o collaborate and discuss the advancements and involvements of IEEE and En gineering in their respective fields. This orientation session was conduct ed by Dr. Khan Bahadar Khattak\, the Advisor of the EMBS chapter.\n\nThe e vent started with an explanation of “IEEE structure\, EMBS chapter orien tation and IEEE benefits for student’s faculty and university ranking” delivered by Dr. Khan Bahadar Khattak\, Advisor of IEEE EMBS chapter. The session started with the IEEE mission and vision followed by the introduc tion of IEEE governance\, organizational structure\, IEEE Geographic Regio ns\, IEEE Divisions\, IEEE Societies and Councils. Then\, the IEEE EMBS mi ssion and vision were introduced along with the motivation of EMBS Benefit s-Reasons to Join EMBS. A brief overview of IEEE EMBS Chapter Awards\, EMB S Sponsored Journals and Co-Sponsored Journals\, Major EMBS Sponsored Conf erences and Co-Sponsored Conferences was provided to the audience. Benefit s of IEEE Student Membership and different IEEE student volunteer awards a nd grants were shared in detail. The contribution of IEEE in faculty profi le development and university ranking was also enlightening in detail. Aft er the session\, a question and answer session was hosted by Dr. Khan Baha dar Khattak in which he entertained queries from participants\, clearing t heir doubts. In the end\, he thanked participants for their time and encou raged them to apply. The event was closed with the concluding remarks by D r.
