DESCRIPTION:NIT Puducherry has established an IEEE Student Branch with a fo
 rmal approval from IEEE on 10th September 2020. The Chief Guest\, Dr. N. K
 umarappan\, Chairman\, IEEE Madras Section\, Professor\, Department of EEE
 \, Annamalai University inaugurated NIT Puducherry IEEE SB in virtual mode
  on 14th July 2021\, in the presence of Dr. K. Sankaranarayanasamy\, Direc
 tor\, NIT Puducherry and Dr. G. Aghila\, Professor & Registrar (i/c)\, Dep
 artment of CSE and gave inaugural address. He also delivered a talk on “
 IEEE Membership Awareness and Benefits” and explained the benefits of IE
 EE memberships. In his presidential address\, Dr. K. Sankaranarayanasamy c
 ongratulated IEEE SB members and encouraged to conduct various events espe
 cially international conferences. In her special address\, Dr. G. Aghila c
 ongratulated the IEEE SB Counsellor and members for their efforts in openi
 ng the IEEE SB. Executive committee members of NIT Puducherry IEEE SB were
  introduced during the program. The entire programme was organized by SB c
