DESCRIPTION:The short term training programme (STTP-virtual mode) on Applic
 ations of Power Electronics in Smart Energy Systems is organized by depart
 ment of EEE in association with student branch-NITPY (30-08-2021 to 03-09-
 2021). Dr. A. Venkadesan\, AP &amp; HOD/EEE and Dr. M. M. Rajan Singaravel\, A
 P/EEE are the conveners of the STTP. Dr. S. Thangavel\, Assoc. Prof/EEE\, 
 Dr. T. Vinopraba\, AP/EEE\, Dr. G. Koperundevi\, AP/EEE and Dr. K. Navin S
 am\, AP/EEE are the co-ordinator of the STTP. The STTP is commenced with i
 naugural function on 30-08-2021 at 10.00 am in the presence of our directo
 r “Prof. (Dr). K. Sankaranarayanasamy”\, registrar (i/c) “Dr. G Aghi
 la”\, NITPY student branch counsellor “Dr. G. Lakshmi Sutha”. The Di
 rector and registrar (i/c) have delivered inaugural and special address re
 spectively. The STTP has 13 sessions and the experts in the relevant areas
  from reputed institutions have delivered informative talk in STTP. The ST
 TP has witnessed around 43 registrations from various colleges all over In
