DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n\nCMC Microsystems is a not-for-profit created in 19
84 to support research in advanced technologies including microelectronics
 \, photonics\, MEMS\, AI/ML\, IoT\, and quantum. The services CMC offers i
nclude CAD (access to state-of-the-art tools in our private cloud)\, FAB (
commercial fabrication with subsidies for subscribers) and LAB (assistance
for testing and development of microsystems).\n\nIn 2020\, CMC launched s
upport for quantum computing including access to the IBM Quantum Hub in Sh
erbrooke\, as well as Xanadu\, IonQ\, and D-Wave. CMC assists in quantum t
raining through Quantum BC and QSciTech and in 2021\, launched the world
’s first superconducting design and fabrication workshop.\n\nCMC also pr
ovides service to start-ups through its Virtual Incubator Environment www.
cmc.ca/vie. Have your questions ready and we look forward to seeing you.\n
