 d by Prof. (Dr.) Praveen Kumar (Department of EEE\, IIT Guwahati). Prior t
 o that\, he worked in the automotive sector in Germany for about a decade.
  His research area is ‘EV motor design and optimization’.\n\n- Prof Pr
 aveen started talking\, presenting the introduction to EV Drive Trains.\n-
  He focused on the need and essentiality of EV Drive Trains.\n- He mention
 ed that the electrification of the powertrain enables locally emission-fre
 e mobility and driving pleasure.\n- He also mentioned driving high motor e
 fficiency in the drive train increases range or reduces the need for batte
 ry capacity. Also\, Brake energy can be converted to electrical energy and
