DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of World Environment Day\, a tree plantation dr
 ive was held in the college premises on 5th June\, 2022. The duel objectiv
 es of this drive were to enhance the tree cover on the campus and to sensi
 tize the students towards importance of trees. In this program\, students 
 of UNNATI (Environmental Club) and UTPRERNA (Social Club) of SWAR-RIT were
  made to plant a tree each at the designated place. The students of the cl
 ubs took the responsibility of nurturing their trees. This also creates am
 ong the freshers a sense of belonging to their new alma mater.\n\nOn this 
 occasion one tree each was also planted by Director General Prof. M.J.Niga
 m\, Registrar Mr. Munendra Chauhan\, Dean Academics Mr. Gaurav Chaturvedi 
 and all Head of Departments. More than 40 trees were planted on the occasi
 on\; most of them are flowering trees.\n\nProf. M.J.Nigam \, Director Gene
 ral of the institute\, added\, “We should not only save the trees but sh
 ould put our equal efforts in planting as well nurturing the trees at leas
 t for next 4/5 years”. He also explained the importance of such an event
  to develop a good virtue in one's life. It is our moral responsibility to
  conserve the nature with the highest priority.\n\nThe event was organized
