DESCRIPTION:- To commemorate the importance of International Yoga Day\, WIE
  organized a special event called YOGA for Inner Engineering on 21 June 20
 22.\n- It was held in the quadrangle at 3 pm.\n- The chief guest for the e
 vent was Kavitha Sooda\, currently working as Associate Professor in B. M.
  S. College of Engineering\, Bengaluru\, with an overall teaching experien
 ce of 20 years. Apart from being a teaching faculty\, she has taken up add
 itional responsibilities due to sheer personal interest\, to name a few:\n
 - Organized many technical and cultural events\, workshops\, and conferenc
 es at national and international levels\n- Actively involved in the proces
 s of NBA/NAAC/AICTE accreditation\n- Part of academic bodies like BOS\, BO
 E\, and DUGC\n\n- Other dignitaries including Dr. Shankar Gowda sir\, dean
  of student affairs BIT\, and Jajaja S\, Associate Dean of Student Affairs
 \, Associate Professor\, Dept of ECE\, IEEE BIT Branch Counselor\, and IEE
 E CAS Chair 2022 were present at the event.\n- It was open to students\, a
 nd teaching and non-teaching\n- The speaker highlighted the importance of 
 yoga and made the participants do asanas including Surya Namaskara while e
 xplaining the benefits of all asanas being performed. She ended the sessio
 n with a light meditation practice which made the participants feel refres
 hed and relaxed.\n\n40 people attended the event and made it a successful
