DESCRIPTION:The Embedded System Workshop was conducted on 20th and 21st of
may from 10 am to 4:30 pm. The venue provided for the workshop was the VLS
I Lab\, BIT.\n\n- The training was provided by Mr. Vijay Mahantesh from Cl
everbit Solutions PVT LTD which included the insight on the processors suc
h as Arduino along with the live demonstration by providing\n- The event s
tarted in presence of the Principal Dr. MU Aswath and HOD of the ECE Dr. H
emanth Kumar A R and the counsellor for IEEE BIT Student Branch Dr. Jalaja
S and the speaker for the workshop Mr. Vijay Mahantesh by lighting the ca
ndle.\n- The workshop mainly focused on the 2nd and 3rd years where we lea
rnt about the basics of Arduino along with the sensors and Embedded C requ
ired to code the\n- The workshop was held for 2 days that is the 20th and
the 21st where on the first day we were taught the basics of Arduino and h
ow to code it according to our We were taught how to use the IR sensor tha
t detects the motion of a heat emitting body around its range .We were als
o made to use an LDR that helps in detecting light intensity.\n- The secon
d day\, we were taught how to use an ultrasonic sensor which detects the d
istance the body is kept at from the mounting point and also the use of LC
D display which can be used as a display device to monitor various values.
There were a lot of parameters that they had included to teach us and as w
ell were giving various tasks\n- We also had a great insight on various do
mains and ways to get into Embedded Systems through one to one talks with
