DESCRIPTION:Come learn about engineering consulting and the electrical grid
! Representatives will discuss current challenges\, and how new technologi
es could create future solutions.\n\nBurns & McDonnell provides engineerin
g\, architecture\, construction\, environmental and consulting solutions.
This event will feature the following representatives to discuss their rol
es and experience with the engineering consulting company:\n\nFrancisco Ar
riaga\n\nFrancisco Arriaga serves as an Assistant Electrical Engineer spec
ializing in substation design\, emphasizing in protection & control\, phys
ical design\, and relay settings. With nearly 3.5 years of experience\, Fr
ancisco helps lead teams for several large utilities in the Southeast\, in
cluding Southern Company\, Duke Energy\, Dominion Energy\, and Santee Coop

ribution Planning studies for various Independent Owned Utilities (Eversou
rce\, AEP\, Duke-Carolinas\, Georgia Power) and for various co-op’s spre
ad across the country. His work mainly involves performing simulation stud
ies on the distribution and transmission systems to help utilities integra
te new and upcoming technologies into their grid. During his time away fro
m work\, Ajinkya is a semi-professional table tennis player\, avid hiker a
