The distance of the track f or the race varies based on the organization that conducts the race. The m ost common distances are the 50 meters and the 100 meters race formats. Th e basic concept of the race involves players carrying an lemon on the spoo n as they race towards the finish line as fast as possible.\nBefore the ra ce\, each competitor is provided with a spoon and an lemon. All participan ts are lined up at the starting line with the lemons positioned on the spo on waiting for the start signal. After the start signal is given\, all the participants run at their maximum speed holding the spoon with just one h and. It is not allowed for the participants to hold the spoon with two han ds. In case the participant touches the egg\, there is an immediate disqua lification. In a situation where a competitor drops the lemon\, they shoul d immediately pick it up\, put it back onto the spoon and balance it befor e they can resume running.
