DESCRIPTION:LaTeX is a typesetting program that is used primarily by mathem
aticians and other academics to help us typeset mathematical notation easi
ly and legibly and using markup-tagging conventions\, writers can style th
e text throughout a document by defining the general structure of the docu
ment.\n\nThis workshop could be of interest to students who want to learn
about LaTeX templates to create impressive documents for their master's or
 Ph.D. thesis. Furthermore\, academics\, students\, and researchers seekin
g to create professional-looking documents\, papers\, presentations\, and
posters may benefit from this workshop.\n\nThe main goal of this talk is t
o get beginners to the place where they can produce basic documents with t
he use of LaTeX\, so we will intentionally be leaving aside some of the mo
re technical options that might be too much for those who are just startin
g off.\n\nAs part of our workshop\, we will be giving a comprehensive over
view of the documentation\, including document spacing and formatting guid
elines and how to cite other papers and write a bibliography. In addition\
, we learn how to include figures\, plots\, and tables in LaTeX documents.
The workshop will continue with a discussion of how to handle LaTeX error
s. To conclude\, we will use LaTeX to compose our first document.\n\nWhat
will you discover?\n\n- How to create a document in LaTeX\n- Document spac
ing and formatting principles\n- How to cite other papers and build a bibl
iography\n- How to include figures\, plots\, and tables in a LaTeX documen
t\n- How to include and reference mathematics and algorithms in LaTeX\n- H
andling LaTeX Errors\n\nWho should attend this workshop?\n\n- Students are
interested in learning about Latex templates to create impressive documen
ts for their master’s or Ph.D. thesis.\n- Academics\, students\, and res
earchers looking to create professional-looking documents\, papers\, prese
