DESCRIPTION:On 11th October 2022\, to celebrate the occasion of IEEE Day\, 
 the IEEE Student Branch from Sri Sairam Institute of Technology organized 
 an event “Parley or Prate”\, which was a heated\, technical debate reg
 arding the influence of music in today’s era and the effect of automatio
 n in the future job market. The event was held in the Project Lab of Sri S
 airam Engineering College\, from 12pm-3pm\, wherein the participants were 
 split into two teams\, for and against the motion. A heated debate then en
 sued\, and the adjudicators\, Ms. Kannagi L\, from Sri Sairam Institute of
  Technology and Dr G. Shanmugasundaram\, from Sri Sairam Engineering Colle
 ge judged the teams based on their contribution to the debate\, their deme
 anor throughout and the language they chose to present in. The best perfor
 mers were then felicitated with a certificate and a lucrative cash prize.\
