DESCRIPTION:This talk will examine a specific application of AI in medical
image processing. Magnetic resonance elastography is the process of captur
ing wave propagation through soft tissue using an MRI scan\, and then calc
ulating the stiffness of tissue from the captured wave images. This calcul
ation has no fully inclusive mathematical solution. AI have presented a no
vel method for estimating tissue stiffness from captured wave images. This
talk will be broken into 2 parts\, background followed by a google colab
demo\, so please bring a laptop if you wish to run the code yourself.\n\nS
