DESCRIPTION:AESS JU felt it would be convenient to host an online session a
bout Robot Operating System (ROS) with a highly respected and relatable ho
st Noor Al Deen Al Asbahi\, who happens to have graduated from his BSc in
mechatronics engineering from the University of Jordan (where most of the
attendees are currently studying).\n\nNoor al Deen started with an introdu
ction about robotics and the history of robotics. He used a very satirical
and relatable manner throughout the session\, which resulted in lots of p
ositive feedback. He then started with ROS\, what it is\, and how he learn
ed it. He spoke about many tools such as GAZEBO which are essential in thi
s subject. He also showed us some of his work and the thought process behi
nd it.\n\nIn the next part\, he spoke about how he started with ROS\, and
tips for us to get started along with resources and courses\, in addition
to competitions we could enroll in.\n\nThe next part which was a majority
of the session\, was about ROS in space\, the attendees found great intere
st in this portion\, and asked a great many questions.\n\nThe session rece
ived positive feedback from the attendees\, and quite a few of them starte
d courses in ROS and related subjects. The attendance had a maximum of 33\
, and an average of 28\, almost all being engineering students. The work N
oor Al Deen has done is very appreciated\, and there are future projects i
 n the work with him.\n\n[Session screenshots](https://drive.google.com/dri
