DESCRIPTION:The Electricity system needs to change due to the climate chang
e and distributed generators advancement as well as globalization. GRID si
nce Edison days is a superb system for synchronous generators\, but not go
od for distributed generators\, especially\, non-synchronous generators. W
e have proposed the loose coupling and best mix of GRID with synchronous g
enerators for high voltage & big demands\, and ECONetwork\, Electricity Cl
uster Oriented Network®\, with distributed generators for low voltage and
small demands since 2003.\nECONetwork consists of clusters of ProSumers\,
Producers as well as Consumers\, who have at least one generator and/or o
ne battery\, at least one appliance\, and control equipment\, named Power
Router\, and transfer only excess & shortfall electricity intermittently.
We have developed a technology of controlling cluster\, separating frequen
cy & voltage from GRID\, utilizing power electronics\, which can control p
ower flow without information infrastructure. This technology gives GRID r
eliability\, resilience and efficiency. Combined the GRID and ECONetwork\,
consumers get more energy security.\nThe technology has been proven throu
gh computer simulation 2009\, laboratory tests in Osaka Gas 2010~13 and Wa
seda University 2013\, and field tested under people living circumstance i
n Osaka Gas 2013\, and Yamagata governmental officers houses 2014~15. This
seminar presents the results.\n\nSpeaker(s): Mr. Satoshi Nagata\, \, Mr.
