DESCRIPTION:The Royal Canadian Navy invites both IEEE student and graduate 
 student members in Vancouver Section to participate in the Canadian Studen
 ts at Sea program from 9-10 May 2023.\n\nOn Tuesday\, 9 May\, participants
  will sail aboard the Canadian patrol frigate HMCS Ottawa from Burrard Dry
  Dock Pier in North Vancouver to HMC Dockyard at CFB Esquimalt near Victor
 ia. While underway\, participants will have opportunities to see a modern 
 warship in action\, and view spaces such as the bridge\, operations room\,
 \, and various engineering spaces. On Wednesday\, 10 May\, participants wi
 ll tour shore facilities at CFB Esquimalt\, including the Fleet Maintenanc
 e Facility\, before heading back to Vancouver via BC Ferries.\n\nThose who
  have been (or would like to be) co-op students at local firms like Seaspa
 n\, OSI Maritime\, MDA\, Vard\, and other Navy contractors\, or plan to se
 ek permanent employment in the marine sector\, will find the experience to
  be particularly useful.\n\nThose interested in participating should submi
 t their contact information (address\, email\, and phone)\, citizenship st
 atus\, and short-form resumes to Prof. David Michelson\, David.Michelson@u
 bc.ca\, no later than noon on Monday\, 20 March 2023.\n\nParticipants must
  be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. The number of billets is lim
 ited\, so please submit your applications to Prof. Michelson as soon as po
