DESCRIPTION:IEEE Mohawk Valley Section organized a tour for engineering stu
 dents from State University of New York Polytechnic Institute at Innovare 
 Advancement Center in Rome\, NY. The section also sponsored lunch for stud
 ents and recruited students for membership.\n\nThe students received brief
 ings by Griffiss Institute\, which run the center\, on STEM internships\, 
 Department of Defense scholarship programs as well as entrepeneurship assi
 stance such as the HUSTLE defense accelerator program. Then the students r
 eceived a tour of the Innovare Advancement Center which houses New York St
 ate Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) test site flight line\, command center\,
  and an indoor controlled environment for UAS testing. The students also r
 eceived a tour of Air Force Research Laboratory operated labs at Innovare 
 such as quantum computing lab\, neuromorphic computing lab and terahertz c
