DESCRIPTION:IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group of Goa College of Engi
neering in association with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunic
ation Engineering organized a two-day workshop on Antenna Design using IE3
D and FEKO softwares on 2nd and 3rd April 2023 in the Computer Centre of t
he Electronics & Telecommunication department\, GEC from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm
. The workshop was attended by 28 undergraduate and graduate students. The
workshop was divided into two parts: On day One Professor Samarth Borkar
used IE3D software to introduce the basic concepts and theory behind micro
strip antennas\, including their structure\, radiation mechanism\, and key
parameters to the students\, while on day two professor Ashweeta Sawant c
overed the design of monopole\, dipole\, and Yagi-Uda antennas using the F
EKO software. The workshop was organized to provide participants an overvi
