DESCRIPTION:The IEEE London Power and Energy Society Chapter and the Life M
ember Affinity Group welcome you to tour the StormFisher Bio Gas plant loc
ated in London\, Ontario. Note that space is limited\, and that attendees
must provide their own steel-toed boots to go on the tour.\n\nStormFisher
Limited operates a 2.85 MW biogas facility in London\, Ontario that conver
ts up to 100\,000 tonnes of organic waste each year into renewable energy
and organic-based fertilizer. We provide disposal services to Ontario's fo
od processors\, food retailers\, waste haulers\, and any business where fo
od is either prepared or consumed. In addition\, StormFisher has been invo
lved in the development of numerous other facilities in the U.S. and Canad
a.\n\nStormFisher develops\, owns\, and operates renewable energy faciliti
es helping corporations\, utilities\, and governments achieve net zero emi
ssions through these fuels.\n\nOur developments support resiliency and a n
et zero economy across sectors by meeting the right intersection of needs
within our supply chain. We are an outlet for renewable power\, create com
mercial value with local partners by maximizing the value of existing by-p
roducts\, and produce Green Hydrogen\, Renewable Natural Gas\, and eMethan
ol for end-markets that are traditionally hard to decarbonize.\n\nStormFis
her develops and operates facilities that recycle and repurpose organic wa
ste\, energy and water in an environmentally and economically sustainable
manner. Using their operational expertise\, they focus on waste-to-value a
nd power-to-gas projects. Partnering with a variety of institutions\, such
as municipalities\, investors\, and technology providers\, StormFisher ma
nages and operates projects after development\, which provides the incenti
ve to build quality facilities that perform as promised. Currently operati
ng the largest private organic waste-to-energy biogas facility in North Am
erica\, along with six other facilities\, StormFisher seeks to lead societ
y into a low carbon future one facility at a time. As both the developer a
nd the operator\, they are committed to bringing commercial and technical
rigor to their projects\, which aim to deliver long term value to people a
nd planet.\n\nNotable Achievements\n\nCurrently operating the largest priv
ate organic waste-to-energy biogas facility in North America\, along a few
other facilities.\n\nOver $350m raised in financing\, including Generate
Capital to support the development and operations of renewable gas infrast
ructure\n\nManages organic waste from a number of large organic waste gene
rators including the City of Toronto and produces renewable natural gas\n\
