DESCRIPTION:The IEEE EMBS UPRM is preparing to celebrate the second edition
  of the BioX Symposium on Engineering in Medicine and Biology. It will tak
 e place on Friday\, March 31\, 2023 at the premises of the Carlos E. Chard
 ón Building and the Luis A. Stéfani Building on the Mayagüez Campus of 
 the University of Puerto Rico\, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. To this end\, we
  invite undergraduate students conducting research in bioengineering and s
 ub-disciplines to submit "abstracts" to participate in this symposium.\n\n
 With enthusiasm and in advance of the second edition of the "BioX Symposiu
 m"\, we highlight our keynote speaker\, Dr. Michelle Visbal Onufrak\, "Sen
 ior Process Engineer" at Medtronic. Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elec
 trical Engineering and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue Universit
 y\, we are very grateful to have the expertise of Dr. Visbal Onufrak for o
