DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of IEEE SPS Day a technical talk was organised 
 by IEEE SPS- Student Branch\nChapter\, IIT (BHU) Varanasi on the topic “
 Gait Recognition and it’s Challenges” by Dr. Pratik\nChattopadhyay (As
 sistant Professor\, Department of Computer Science Engineering\, IIT\n(BHU
 ) Varanasi). The event started with an introductory speech by Dr. Priya Ra
 njan Muduli\n(Faculty Advisor\, IEEE SPS-SBC IIT (BHU) Varanasi) followed 
 by the technical talk by our\ninvited speaker. In this talk he explained t
 he state-of-the-art techniques used for Gait\nrecognition and challenges a
 ssociated with them. The talk was very informative\, students\nwere also v
 ery interactive with the speaker regarding their doubts on this topic. The
  talk was\nconcluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Bharat Bhushan Upadhya
 y (Chair Person\, IEEE\nSPS-SBC IIT (BHU) Varanasi). Finally a memento was
  presented to the invited speaker by\nProf. M.K. Meshram (Head\, Departmen
