nsing systems simulation for synthetic dataset generation"\n\nheld by dr.
sc. Antonio Lagudi\, Department of Mechanical\, Energetics and Management
Engineering (DIMEG)\, University of Calabria (UNICAL)\, Arcavacata di Ren
de\, Italy. The lecture will take place on Tuesday June 27th\, 2023 at 11:

tion framework in which a Multi-Beam Echosounder (MBES) is simulated in or
der to generate synthetic datasets that are used for training Deep Learnin
g models addressed to recognize objects and natural phenomena like gas emi
ssions.\n\nBrief bio:\n\nAntonio Lagudi is a Research Associate at the Uni
versity of Calabria. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at th
e University of Calabria in 2015 and he graduated in Electronic Engineerin
g at the University of Perugia. Winner in 2015 of the "Ph.D. I-Talents" pr
