DESCRIPTION:As part of the Star Program challenge\, our mission was to rais
e awareness amongst children as they are the future of this planet. [🌍]
.\n\nAlso\, maintaining the program's sustainability was our key objective
so that's why we created the "Sauver la planète"'magazine\, which was pu
blished on our website and delivered to the school as a paper version. And
that’s what we did on our visit when we targeted Ibn Rachiq Mourouj 3 s
chool.\n\nWe used an icebreaker game to kick off our program and engage wi
th kids and teachers while introducing the topic of "Earth our home."\nAt
first\, we presented an interactive series on the solar system called 'Alt
ernatives to the Earth\,' and we gave kids a Hologram model to see it in 3
D to engage them and make learning more enjoyable. These interactive serie
s were made available on our YouTube channel.\nNext we divided kids into t
wo groups and we held two parallel sessions:\nDuring the first session\, w
e introduced a topic on earth-related problems : ‘factors and drivers to
earth’s damage’ and asked kids to draw a picture of what they think t
he Earth might look like in the future. Then a mini-ideathon was held wher
e teams were formed to come up with solutions for saving the earth and a s
econd drawing session had kids envision the Earth in the future as good ci
tizens.\nThe other parallel session is a workshop series of handcraft with
plastic bottles and garbage sorting. Children also played a monopoly game
that we designed featuring the solar system and missions inspired from ou
r workshops and sessions in order to reinforce the lessons of the first da
y.\n\nAnd now to gain the attention of kids and make them learn in a fun w
ay\, we created a book where we enlisted the 3D models of planets and we l
aunched the first edition of the magazine ‘Save the planet’ that we pr
esented to kids and teachers.\nAt the end of the day\, we planted flowers
around the school courtyard.\n\nThe amount of positive feedback we receive
d for this initiative has warmed our hearts.[🥰][🥰][💜]\n\n Ibn Rac
