DESCRIPTION:IoT systems play critical roles in supporting diverse vertical
applications by connecting heterogeneous devices\, machines\, and industri
al processes. Any potential security risk in IoT systems could lead to cat
astrophic consequences and even system failure of critical infrastructures
\, particularly for applications relying on tight collaborations among dis
tributed devices and facilities. While security is the cornerstone for man
y IoT applications\, trust among entities and information privacy are beco
ming increasingly important. However\, existing solutions often feature va
rious distinctive weaknesses\, including drastically increased time latenc
 y\, communication/computation overheads\, and privacy leakage\, which are
extremely undesirable for delay-sensitive\, resource-constrained\, and pri
vacy-aware IoT communications. To overcome these challenges\, this present
ation will introduce a series of approaches to achieve cost-effective and
reliable security and trust\, providing efficient solutions for supporting
a wide variety of vertical industry applications enabled by IoT.\n\nSpeak
