 opology and Control in Grid Connected Renewable Energy\, Motor Drives and 
 Energy Storage Systems”. The keynote speaker of this talk is Professor F
 iruz Zare from Queensland University of Technology\, and his brief biograp
 hy is as follows:\n\nProfessor Firuz Zare is a Fellow of IEEE\, IEEE disti
 nguished lecturer\, a Fellow of Engineers Australia\, and the Head of the 
 School of Electrical Engineering and Robotics at Queensland University of 
 Technology in Brisbane\, Queensland.\n\nHe has over 20 years of experience
  in academia\, industry\, and international standardisation committees\, i
 ncluding eight years in two large R&amp;D centres working on Grid Connected In
 verters\, Energy Conversion Systems\, and Power Quality Projects.\n\nHe ha
 s been an active member of IEC\, Danish\, and Australian standardisation c
 ommittees and has been a Task Force Leader (International Project Manager)
  of Active Infeed Converters to develop the first international standard I
 EC 61000-3-16 within the IEC standardisation SC77A.\n\nProf. Zare has rece
 ived several awards such as an Australian Future Fellowship\, John Madsen 
 Medal\, Symposium Fellowship\, and early career excellence research award.
  He was awarded a technology leadership program by the Danish Innovation C
 ouncil\, to attend one-year leadership program delivered by Harvard Busine
 ss School in Boston USA in 2015.\n\nProf Zare is a Senior Editor of IEEE A
 ccess journal\, a Guest Editor and Associate Editor of the [IEEE Journal o
 f Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics and an Editorial board

  post-docs\, and research engineers and published over 300 peer-reviewed c
