DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Student Branch Of Sri Sai Ram Institute Of Technology 
 hosted a two day Boot Camp on IoT and Robotics for the student members to 
 learn about the emerging and rapidly evolving technologies of IoT and Robo
 tics. The resource people were eminent professors from Anna University\, (
 CEG campus)\, Anna University( MIT campus) and Sri Sai Ram Engineering Col
 lege. The event started with a welcome address by Dr. Saritha G\, IEE SB C
 ounselor\, following which the session started in full swing.\n\nOn the fi
 rst day\, the speakers gave a brief introduction to IoT\, followed by a se
 ssion on IoT Architechture and Components \, Data Collection and Analytics
  \, IoT security\, and IoT connectivity. The students were also given a ch
 ance to participate in a hands on project to further pique their interest 
 and understanding of the project.\n\nThe second day began with a small ina
 ugral talk\, and a revision of the topics covered the previous day. The st
 udents were given exhaustive talks on the various components and sensors i
 nvolved in the study of Robotics\, followed by a discussion on Robot locom
 ation and robot control. Students were then made to do a hands on project\
 , in the course of which they were taught about Robot vision and perceptio
 n. An interactive session was conducted on the possible application of IoT
  and Robotics in engineering\, and the various job oppurtunities that were
  available. The event ended on the high note with the distribution of meme
 ntos to the speakers as an expression of gratitude\, followed by a vote of
  thanks by IEEE SB SIT Vice Chairman Karthik Maharaja AV.\n\nSpeaker(s): D
