DESCRIPTION:This is an optional tour of Southwest Research Institute (SwRI)
  for participants at the IEEE Region 5 2023 Fall ExCom meeting. Tour parti
 cipants will meet at the Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Airport for a b
 us ride to and from SwRI. The bus will depart the hotel at 2:00 pm and ret
 urn at 5:00 pm.\n\nHeadquartered in San Antonio\, Texas\, SwRI is one of t
 he oldest and largest independent\, nonprofit\, applied research and devel
 opment (R&amp;D) organizations in the United States. Founded in 1947\, SwRI pr
 ovides contract R&amp;D services to industrial and government clients.\n\nSwRI
  consists of 11 technical divisions that offer multidisciplinary\, problem
 -solving services in a variety of areas in engineering and the physical sc
 iences. A partial listing of research areas includes antennas and propagat
