DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Xtreme Programming Competition is a coding competition
hosted by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Co
mputer Society. It stands out as one of the largest programming competitio
ns globally aiming to test students programming abilities problem solving
skills and teamwork.\n\nTeams consisting of three students\, from universi
ties and colleges across the globe come together for this 24 hour coding m
arathon. Typically held in October teams are presented with a series of ch
allenging programming problems to solve within the allocated time. These p
roblems encompass subjects such as algorithms\, data structures\, mathemat
ics and more.\n\nParticipants are expected to collaborate to devise soluti
ons for these problems while having the freedom to choose from a range of
programming languages and tools. The competition not emphasizes expertise
but also showcases participants ability to perform well under pressure and
manage time effectively.\n\nIEEE Xtreme is renowned for its intensity and
demands thinking when tackling its problem set. It serves as a platform f
or participants to exhibit their programming prowess while connecting with
students from around the world. The event fosters learning opportunities
networking experiences and collaborative efforts\, within the field of com
puter science and engineering.\n\nThe keynote speaker at today's IEEEExtre
me Coding Competition webinar was Tasneem Jannat Tanha (Chair of IEEE CS B
ranch GUB Chair and Vice Chair of IEEE SB Branch GUB) and Tabil Ahmed as s
ection lead.\n\nCo was in the lead discussing our IEEEExtreme in detail in
today's event\, and the students in attendance asked questions about that
topic — he did the answers. In addition\, students asked about various
topics such as hacker rank and unique online jazz\, then cyber security\,
game theory were also discussed in today's program\n\nVirtual: https://eve
