DESCRIPTION:Waknaghat\, IEEE JUIT-SB conducted Synchrostride : Orientation 
 for the first-year students on August 7\, 2023 from 5:00 PM onwards. The e
 vent started off with a brief introduction by the Chairperson of IEEE\, Ar
 yam and the vice-chairperson\, Mayank Kumar. They began by telling student
 s about the working of the organization and the various events conducted b
 y IEEE. He went ahead by listing the various benefits of joining the globa
 l community. The students got to know about the numerous workshops and ses
 sions they can attend on diverse domains like IoT\, cloud computing\, grap
 hic designing\, web designing\, and much more.\n\nStudents were told about
  the hands-on experience of work on real-life projects which can help them
  enhance their CVs and provides a chance to receive funding from the IEEE 
 Delhi section. The students were encouraged to become registered members o
 f the organization to avail additional membership benefits.\n\nFollowing a
 fter was the introduction of IEEE WIE\, a dedicated sub-branch of IEEE to 
 promote women's participation in STEM\, by WIE chairperson\, Ishita Mishra
 . Being a member of WIE opens a sea of opportunities for spearheading thei
 r skills. Students were then acquainted with the amazing past events condu
 cted by WIE.\n\nNext up\, IEEE Sight\, which emphasizes humanitarian techn
 ology activities was briefed by Sight chairperson\, Kshitiz Tayal. All the
  students were told about the course of action followed by the sub-branch 
 to work for the welfare of mankind which includes identifying the needs of
  society\, and planning and executing the solutions for the same. Sight al
 so promotes community service and get access to various newsletters and re
 sources as a member of IEEE Sight. One of the major achievements of the su
 b-group was bagging the first position in India in Ayushman Bharat Divas.\
 n\nThe orientation ended on a happy note with students being excited about
