The event was inaugurated by hon'ble VC sir P rof. S.K. Tomar along with Prof. Munish Vashishath DSW head as the chief g uest\, Prof. Sonia Bansal DDSW under the guidance of Dr Rashmi Agarwal\, C oordinator IEEE YMCA SB and project coordinator of ‘Digitalisation and B asics of Computer'. IEEE R-10 is a series of events aimed at enabling rura l women in accessing digital resources and means further helping them in r ealising their potential. IEEE R-10 not only enables rural women in digiti zation but also helps them to empower themselves economically. This worksh op aimed at educating rural and unprivileged women about basics of compute r such as web-surfing and emails and other necessities such as 'How to app ly for Aadhar Card\, Voter ID card\, Parivar Pehchan Patra\, paying electr icity bill and booking LPG cylinder online\, Microsoft Office. This worksh op also aimed at enriching people's daily lives by enlightening them on ho w to use UPI to conduct payments and receive money. The event was conducte d in the Multimedia Centre of the university and Senior Secondary High sch ool at Sehrawak resulting in theoretical as well as practically enriched l earning. A quiz session was also held in which the winners were awarded wi th several prizes such as bags\, notepads and refreshments were also distr ibuted. The event effectively addressed the need for digital literacy in u nderserved communities by providing them with foundational knowledge and h ands-on experience\, the event enabled participants to embrace technology and integrate it into their daily lives.
