DESCRIPTION:The Freshmen Integration Day was a remarkable event that marked
  the beginning of an exciting journey for both our incoming freshmen and t
 he Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group. This day was all about exten
 ding a warm and inviting welcome to the newest members of our academic com
 munity\, while introducing them to the fantastic opportunities offered by 
 our WIE Affinity Group.\n\nIt commenced at 1:30 pm with an engaging and in
 formative presentation by members of the WIE Affinity Group\, taking place
  in front of the entire freshman class. The presentation provided valuable
  insights into the mission\, vision\, and activities of the group. It was 
 a moment to inspire and empower the freshmen\, particularly those interest
 ed in engineering\, by highlighting the significance of diversity and incl
 usion in the field.\n\nFollowing the presentation\, from 3 pm to 5 pm\, th
 e WIE Affinity Group hosted an interactive booth in the bustling hall of t
 he SupCom building. The booth was a vibrant hub of activity\, with members
  of the group eagerly waiting to answer questions and engage in discussion
