DESCRIPTION:IEEE Day 2023 at the University of Ibadan Student Branch was an
  exciting event\, gathering current and prospective members\, in celebrati
 on of the first time engineers gathered to share technical ideas in 1884. 
 Held at Opolo Innovation Hub\, our theme speaker was Demilade Odetara(ex-U
 ISB member)\, Founder at Pledre and Co-Founder of one of the most notable 
 startups in the city\, Heyfood(YC W22). Demilade spoke on the topic "Lever
 aging Technology for a Better Tomorrow"\, which eventually became an inter
 active Q&A session as we discussed his personal and professional journey i
 n the world of technology. Key learnings were:\n\n- Find problems to solve
 \, as many as you can\n\n- Become near obsessed with these problems\n\n- L
 earn to fail\, and to fail continuously.\n\nOur second speaker was Olufemi
  Balogun\, another ex-University of Ibadan Student Branch member and Chair
 \, now IEEE Nigeria Section SIGHT Group Chair and Founder\, VAAV Innovativ
 e Solutions. Femi spoke on the topic "Designing for Humanity"\, as we disc
 ussed building and advancing technology for humanitarian purposes.\n\nOver
 all\, IEEE Day 2023 at the University of Ibadan Student Branch was a fanta
 stic experience for all who attended\, with technical and non-technical le
 arnings\, and a brilliant networking opportunity for members to meet thems
