DESCRIPTION:On October 11\, 2023\, during the student week at COMSATS Unive
 rsity Islamabad\, the IEEE RAS CUI hosted a poster designing competition. 
 The event ran from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and brought together six creati
 ve minds to work on the theme &quot;Smart Cities of the Future.&quot;\n\nRules for P
 oster Designing:\nParticipants were tasked with creating posters on the th
 eme of &quot;Smart Cities of the Future\,&quot; envisioning urban environments enhan
 ced by technology for sustainability and efficiency. The posters were requ
 ired to be of 5 x 5 inches (480 x 480 px) dimensions and were to be comple
 ted\nwithin a strict time frame of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Furthermore\, ea
 ch poster was mandated to include the line &quot;Smart cities of the future&quot; an
 d the official logo of RAS.\nParticipants were granted the liberty to use 
 internet resources and any design software at their disposal. They were al
 so instructed to ensure the preservation of their source files\, as they m
 ight be requested by the judges for verification purposes.\n\nMain Objecti
 ve:\nThe goal of the competition was clear: let participants showcase thei
 r creativity by designing posters that represent the future of cities enha
 nced by technology for sustainability and efficiency. It was all about thi
 nking outside the box and communicating ideas visually.\n\nFair and Anonym
 ous:\nTo ensure fairness\, each participant received a unique code number 
 to keep their work anonymous\; hence\, this added an element of excitement
  and mystery.\n\nJudging Panel:\nThe competition was judged by a panel of 
 experts\, including Saadia Saeed and Maha Shahid\, the former directors of
  the IEEE CUI Graphics team\, and Fatima Waqar\, the current director. The
 y were there to evaluate and choose the best posters.\n\nRace Against the 
 Clock:\nParticipants had just 70 minutes to bring their creative visions t
 o life. The next half-hour was for submitting their work and materials. Th
 e judges had a challenging job ahead.\n\nChampions of Creativity:\nWhen th
 e votes were in\, the excitement was palpable. Talha Khan&#39;s poster stood o
 ut\, claiming the top spot\, while Ayan Khattak secured second place. Thes
 e posters truly represented the future of smart cities.\n\nA Successful Ce
 lebration:\nThe event ended on a high note\, with participants and the aud
 ience enjoying the creative energy. The essence of RAS&#39;s mission\, providi
