DESCRIPTION:IEEE SB GNITS celebrated IEEE Day Celebrations on 19th October 
 2023 in GNITS Campus. The event aims to celebrate the achievements of IEEE
  and its members\, and to promote awareness of the IEEE student branch con
 tributions to the field of technology. A technical talk was given by Mr. B
 ala Prasad Peddigari on the topic “Trends driven by Digital Superpowers.
 ” Speaker: Mr. P. Bala Prasad\, Past-Execom member\, IEEE Hyderabad Sect
 ion\,\nChief Innovation Officer and Global Head - Technology Advisory Serv
 ices\, Technology\, Software and Services Business Group.The talk was a gr
 eat forum for students to learn about upskilling themselves in the latest 
 technological trends. The speaker has delved into various topics like Gene
 rative AI\,5G\, Multi-Edge and Metaverse. The emergence of the metaverse b
 lurs physical and digital realities\, offering immersive experiences and n
 ovel opportunities are the take away points of the session.The celebration
 s also featured “Group Discussions” conducted for students which helpe
 d them immensely in improving their communication skills and enable struct
 ured thinking. A project expo along with "Sustainable house" prototype\, 
 “Sustainable Ink/Pen” stall was also set-up which helped students beco
 me more aware on the importance of sustainability. Various games stalls we
 re also set-up by students which has really added joy to the celebrations.
