DESCRIPTION:Low Voltage VFDs\n\nThe application of Variable Freqency Drives
(VFD) has increased significantly since I initally wrote courses on VFDs
10 years ago. This course will present the electrical and mechanical enngi
neering utilized to specify adjustable speed drive and include case studie
s for projects completed over the past 10 years\, like the Sky Diving Wind
Tunnel Motor and Drive System and the Replacement of the MG Set for the G
ateway (St. Louis) Arc trams\, pointing out the design of the power system
and the control systems which are unique to using Low Voltage VFDs.\n\nSp
eaker(s): Joseph F. Maida\, PE\, \n\nAgenda: \nWEBINAR: 7:00 - 8:00 P.M.\n
\nThe Zoom Webinar link and password will be forwarded to all registered p
articipants after Noon on the day of the meeting. Check your spam folder i
f you don't see the email.\n\nWebinar is open to all.\n\nPDH certificates
are available and an evaluation form will be emailed to you after the meet
ing. PDH certificate are sent by IEEE USA 3-4 weeks after the meeting.\n\n
