DESCRIPTION:The [IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board](https://htb.ieee.org
/) Ad Hoc Committee on SIGHT Best Practices is cooperating with a number o
f IEEE OUs including IEEE SSIT IST-Africa SIGHT\, IEEE Philadelphia Sectio
n SIGHT\, IEEE Bahrain Section SIGHT\, IEEE Karachi SIGHT and [IEEE UK and
  Ireland SSIT Chapter](https://www.ieee-ukandireland.org/chapters/society-
on-social-implications-of-technology/) to organise this Lecture as part of
a Series of Best Practice Lectures.\n\nIEEE Members\, SIGHT Members\, SSI
T Members as well as non-IEEE Members are invited to [Register](https://ev

developing countries and under-represented communities.\nSome examples of
technological projects in this context include supporting uptake of techn

such a project\, but also to fill the gap between the technology designs a

necessary to pave the way from needs\, design\, gahering financial support
