DESCRIPTION:The inaugural Smart Nitte Hackathon\, organized by the Turing A
 rtificial Intelligence Student Committee (TASC)\, Department of Artificial
  Intelligence and Machine Learning\, NMAM Institute of Technology\, in col
 laboration with Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) Nitte\, Karnataka\, and IEEE 
 Student Branch took place on November 25th-26th\, 2023. With 133 participa
 ting teams and a 24-hour coding challenge\, the event aimed to cultivate i
 nnovation and excellence in technology.\n\nThe event commenced with an ins
 piring inaugural ceremony led by Prof. Niranjan N Chiplunkar\, Principal o
 f NMAMIT Nitte. Dr. Ananthapadmanaba Achar\, CEO of AIC Nitte\, expressed 
 commitment to supporting winners on their entrepreneurial journey. Engagin
 g presentations\, a symbolic cheque reveal\, and a spokesperson talk by Dr
 . Shashank Shetty marked the beginning of the hackathon.\n\nStarting at 11
 :00 am on November 25th\, the hackathon featured strategic breaks\, mentor
  guidance sessions\, jam sessions\, and sports activities. Teams could eng
 age with startup mentors via Zoom/Google Meet\, and the TASC cafe remained
  open 24 hours. The evaluation period concluded on November 26th\, culmina
 ting in a final evaluation at AIC Nitte to determine the top 3 teams.\n\nD
 r. Sharada U Shenoy and Dr. Uday Kumar Shenoy delivered speeches during th
 e valedictory program. The jury\, comprising industry experts\, presented 
 certificates of appreciation to participating colleges and momentos to sta
 rtup companies.\n\nSapient_Scholars from Dayananda Sagar University emerge
 d as winners\, with PrepAir and Black Perl as first and second runners-up.
  Teams were also recognized for internship opportunities\, enhancing parti
 cipants' future career prospects.\n\nMs. Prathiksha Kamath K delivered a t
 alk\, and participation certificates and goodies were distributed to all 1
