DESCRIPTION:The theme of the first workshop was "Arduino Basics" and it was
  presented by the vice-chair of RAS NTUA. 103 students participated in the
  workshop and 50 kits\, with arduino boards\, cables\, sensors\, leds etc\
 , were handed out to the participants to work in pairs. During the worksho
 p the participants learned about the main functionalities of an arduino bo
 ard\, how to use the arduino IDE and were able to control some the LEDs an
 d their brightness via simple programming. At the end of the workshop the 
 participants had the chance to ask questions and to interact with the volu
 nteers of RAS who helped with the organization and execution of the worksh
