The event was coordinated by t he Student Coordinator\, Mr. C. S. Collins David\, Chairman of IEEE Photon ics Society SBC under the guidance of Mrs. G. Johncy\, Faculty Advisor of IEEE Education Society SBC. The theme of the expo was "Leveraging Technolo gy for a better tomorrow".\n\nPreparations for the expo like sending poste rs to diverse student branches across the state began six months prior\, w ith detailed planning of the entire work were carried out by five committe es. Registrations for the expo saw enthusiastic participation\, with 78 te ams registering\, 47 for hardware projects and 31 for software projects as of 6th February 2024. After evaluation\, 48 projects were selected for pr esentation and were intimated via acknowledgement mail on 22nd February. O ut of the selected teams\, 31 teams including 25 hardware teams and 6 soft ware teams submitted their final reports on 15th March 2024.\n\nThe expo w as held in the Conference Hall\, and it began by 9:30 a.m. with an inaugur al function compared by Ms. Eme Breeza S. The Code of Ethics was read by M r. J. Daldon Vargis Raja\, IEEE Member. Ms. J S Preethi Manjra\, Chairpers on of IEEE Education Society SBC welcomed the gathering with warm greeting s. Ms. G. Johncy\, Faculty Advisor of IEEE Education Society SBC gave an introduction about the Project Expo 2k24. Later\, Ms. K. Ashlin Stephy\, C hairperson of IEEE Women in Engineering SBAG introduced the Chief Guest of the event. Mr. P. R. Vishnu\, IT Analyst at TCS\, graced the event as Chi ef Guest and he gave an inspirational talk. The gathering of the expo were felicitated by Dr. J. Maheswaran\, Principal of SXCCE. The inaugural func tion came to an conclusion by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. C. S. Co llins David. Abhishek\, CEO & Founder of Chek.InTek\, e valuated the projects and provided their valuable feedback.\n\nThe gatheri ngs in the afternoon session were welcomed by Ms. R. P. Priya\, Secretary of IEEE Student Branch. Following it\, Rev. Fr. Dr. M. Maria William\, Cor respondent of SXCCE delivered the presidential address highlighting the im portance of the expo. Later\, the session was facilitated as an interactio n between judges and participants\, highlighting the event's commitment to fostering technological innovation. The valedictory function\, marked by the distribution of prizes and certificates\, and with the words of gratit ude by Mr. B.
