DESCRIPTION:Datathon 2023 was co-organized by the University of Peradeniya\
 , the University of\n\nColombo School of Computing\, the University of Mor
 atuwa\, and the University of Jaffna.\n\nThe event was organized through t
 he collaboration of several key partners\, including Lanka\n\nEducation an
 d Research Network (LEARN)\, the host of APAN56\, the Sri Lanka Associatio
 n\n\nfor the Advancement of Science\, and the IEEE Computer Society Sri La
 nka Chapter.\n\nDatathon also benefited from the invaluable contributions 
 of three exceptional student\n\nsocieties: the Hackers&#39; Club of the Univer
 sity of Peradeniya\, CompSoc of the University of\n\nColombo\, and the ACM
  Student Chapter of the University of Moratuwa.\n\nThe event received spon
 sorship from Fortitude as the silver sponsor\, along with Future\n\nLabs\,
  CodeGen\, and KochaSoft as bronze sponsors. Additionally\, Datathon was g
 enerously\n\nsupported by Hatch Works (Pvt) Ltd\, who served as the ecosys
 tem partner and provided\n\nthe event venue. Micro Rewards played a vital 
 role as the digital certificate partner.\n\nIn the initial phase of event 
 organization\, invitations were sent to the following higher\n\neducation

 hour event which started at 12.00 noon on 22nd August\n\n2023 and ended at
  12.00 noon on 23rd August 2023.\n\n● Teams\n\no Each team comprised fou
 r members.\n\no The members were from a cohort of 3rd year students and ab
 ove of the\n\ninstitute.\n\n● A panel of judges evaluated each solution 
 based on the following criteria.\n\no Creativity\, Innovativeness &amp; Idea r
 epresentation [30%]\n\no Usefulness &amp; Practicality [20%]\n\no Efficiency [
 10%]\n\no Business value [20%]\n\no Completeness [20%]\n\n● Teams were e
 valuated throughout the Datathon on 3 occasions. The following was\n\nthe 
 initial evaluation plan (On the day of the event\, the following counts we
 re\n\nadjusted to align with the number of participants in the event).\n\n
 o First round evaluation - To select 20 of 40 teams\n\no Second round eval
 uation - To select 7 of 20 teams of round 1 + 3 wild card\n\nteams (A wild
  card is a selection of a team from the teams that did not make\n\nthe sho
 rtlist)\n\no Third round evaluation - To select 4 of 10 teams of round 2 +
  1 wild card\n\nteam\n\no The finalists were evaluated based on a 10 minut
 e presentation and the\n\nChampions\, 1st runner-up\, and 2nd runner-up te
 ams were selected.\n\n● Prizes were awarded as follows.\n\no Champions R
 s. 100\,000.00\n\no 1st Runner-up Rs. 60\,000.00\n\no 2nd Runner-up Rs. 40
 \,000.00\n\n● Certificates of participation were awarded to all particip
 ants.\n\n● Team members were advised to be within the event premises fro
 m registration till\n\nthe end of the event.\n\n● Team members were advi
 sed to only use their original ideas\, codes\, processes and\n\nprocedures
