DESCRIPTION:Satellite communication is rapidly expanding with 5G going into
space and needs to be connected to the world from anywhere. This workshop
/seminar is for all those involved in satellite communication electronics.
In this paper\, a quick overview of building a digital twin of a Satellit
 e communication system will be presented. A digital twin\, while a high-le
vel behavioral model\, must be accurate to drive all aspects of\nthe syste
m development\, such as design\, validation\, and operation. All considera
tions to model the subsystems\, such as RF electronics\, antennas includin
g phased arrays\, the channel between ground electronics and satellite\, h
igh-quality signal generation\, and analysis\, will be discussed. For thos
e interested\, detailed material will be provided on request.\n\nSpeaker(s
