DESCRIPTION:The functions and scope of real-time mixed media applications a
re expanding as these applications are integrated with IoT\, ML/AI\, block
chain\, voice- and financial technologies\, and more. While there are conf
erences devoted to each of these technologies separately\, and to the unde
rlying networks and platforms that support them\, the RTC Conference Resea
rch Track is specifically interested in exploring the issues\, opportuniti
es and challenges associated with the integration of these disparate techn
ologies. The online version of this Call for Papers can be found [here](ht
 tps://www.rtc-conference.com/2024/research-track-cfp/) (https://www.rtc-co
 nference.com/2024/research-track-cfp/).\n\nThe RTC Research Track invites
paper submissions in interactive multimedia communications describing arch
 itectures\, design\, theoretical results\, experiments\, innovative system
s\, prototyping efforts\, and case studies. Papers that are accepted and p
resented at the conference will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplor
e.\n\nWe are interested in works at the intersection of multimedia interac
tive communications with technologies in internet of things\, vehicular ne
 tworking\, confidential computing\, machine learning\, network management\
 , programmable network services\, security\, privacy\, machine learning\,
voice technologies\, blockchain\, gaming\, and robotics. The Technical Pro
gram inherits the 16-year legacy of the IPTComm Conference which evolved f
rom a focus on Voice over IP to include some topics listed above. The arch
ive of IPTComm publications is located at [archive](http://iptcomm.org/arc
 hive.html) (http://iptcomm.org/archive.html).\n\nAgenda: \n-\nThis year’
s event promises to be the biggest and best to date! A multi-tracked confe
rence over three days will focus on major areas such as:\n\n- Evolving Tec
hnologies and their impact on- and use within RTC Applications\n- AI/ML in
RTC Applications and Services\n- Impact of Security and Privacy methods o
n RTC\n- Network Management and Resilience methods and their effect on RTC
applications\n\nPlease mark your calendars and plan to join us for this e
xciting event. In the meantime\, stay tuned to our website and mailing lis
ts for further updates.\n\nImportant Dates\n\n- Paper submission deadline:
 Monday\, July 8\, 2024 – 1200 CDT\n- Notification of acceptance: Monday\
 , August 5\, 2024 – 1200 CDT\n- Final camera-ready submission: Monday\,
 September 2\, 2024 – 1200 CDT\n- Conference Dates: October 8-10\, 2024\n
