DESCRIPTION:IEEE PCJS Young Professional Talk Series 2024\n\nUnified HIV Ri
sk Evaluation: Employing Technology for Personalized Testing and Preventio
n Strategies\n\n[]\n\nMingchao He\n\nData Analyst in the Cancer Epidemiolo
gy and Health Outcomes\n\nRutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey\n\nAbout
the Talk\n\nConsidering the evolving landscape of travel influenced by the
ongoing and post-pandemic scenarios of COVID-19\, the judicious allocatio
n of medical resources remains a pertinent concern. Therefore\, we underto
ok a comprehensive analysis utilizing HIV testing data sourced from CDC BI
FSS spanning the years 2016 to 2020.\n\nOur study incorporates five demogr
aphic independent variables\, gender\, age group\, race/ethnicity\, transm
ission category\, and regions of residence. By comparing the results of ou
r regression analysis with several existing models\, we identified the mod
el that best aligns with the empirical data. We then superimposed and inte
grated this outcome with Bayes' theorem to determine the level for individ
uals at risk of HIV\, providing tailored inspection recommendations.\n\nAb
out the Speaker\n\nMingchao He obtained his Master's degree from Rutgers U
niversity in 2021. Beginning in 2020\, he contributed his expertise to Amb
io Inc. as a Clinical Analyst\, where he specialized in analyzing COVID-19
infections. In 2021\, he transitioned to Symrise INC as a Marketing Resea
rch Analyst\, where his responsibilities included collecting brainwave ima
ge data for specific compounds through clinical trials. He meticulously an
alyzed and rated preferences for these compounds. Since 2022\, Mingchao ha
s been an integral part of the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey\, se
rving as a Data Analyst in the Cancer Epidemiology and Health Outcomes.\n\
nMingchao focuses on studying the impact of neighborhood social and physic
al environments on access to prostate and breast cancer screening. Additio
nally\, Mingchao is actively involved in investigating racial disparities
within a cohort of individuals with cancer\, specifically among Black and
White populations.\n\nSponsors: IEEE Princeton/Central Jersey Section\n\nI
