nSummary:\n\nTitle: Sensitivity analysis of harmonic levels at POI using m
 ixed GSU transformer phase shift\, a case study.\n\nDescription:\n\nJoin t
he IEEE PES/IAS Denver chapter during our March technical meeting. Our gue
st speaker this month is Gerardo Valdés Bustamante from Electric Power En
gineers.\n\nThe integration of renewable energy sources into power systems
has led to increased concerns regarding the impact of harmonics on the st
ability and reliability of the grid. This study investigates the sensitivi
ty of harmonic levels at the Point of Interconnection (POI) in a power sys
tem\, focusing on the application of mixed Generator Step-Up (GSU) transfo
rmer phase shift configurations. The objective is to analyze how varying t
he vector group in the GSU transformers affects harmonic distortion at the
POI.\n\nThe case study was based on a realistic power system model with r
enewable energy sources and mixed GSU transformers. A comprehensive sensit
ivity analysis was conducted by changing the vector group of the GSU trans
formers and monitoring the resulting harmonic levels at the POI. The study
identified the optimal vector group configurations that minimize harmonic
distortion while ensuring efficient power transfer.\n\nSpeaker(s): Gerard
