DESCRIPTION:The TNJSF (formerly the NJRSF) is a science fair competition fo
r high school students (grades 9-12) for students in ten counties of north
ern New Jersey. The mission of the TNJSF is to support\, encourage\, and r
ecognize student involvement in scientific researh and engineering design.
It is our belief that students can only truly appreciate the creative nat
ure of the process if they have actually experienced it themselves. In add
ition\, we endeavor to provide resources which further this overarching go
al\, including giving students various opportunities to interact with prof
essional scientists and engineers. The opportunity to partake of the TNJSF
itself as well as other resources we offer is intended to be open to all
high school students in our northern NJ region.\n\nIEEE volunteers are nee
ded for Special Awards Judging at the Fair\n\nSpecial awards judging takes
place on Saturday morning. Judges are asked to arrive at the judges' room
by 9:00 a.m. to determine their project assignments with their team and t
o receive instructions from the Judging Coordinator. Judging of projects t
akes place from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. During this time\, judges will meet
with students at their project displays and evaluate their work. At least
2 judges on the award team should see each project under consideration. A
t 12:00 p.m.\, the judges reconvene in the judges' room to discuss the pro
