DESCRIPTION:As an event to celebrate IEEE PES Day 2024\, this initiative wi
 ll cooperate with Cardinal Operations to hold a technical seminar at Xi&#39;an
  Jiaotong University (XJTU) for PES members in Xi&#39;an\, China. The event in
 vites industry and academic professionals to deliver keynote speeches rega
 rding optimizer COPT &amp; its applications in power sector\, transportation e
 lectrification\, co-optimization of power grid and transportation network.
  Three honored guests representing XJTU School of Electrical Engineering\,
  IEEE PES China Chapters Council\, and IEEE PES Xi&#39;an Chapter\, are also i
 nvited to deliver welcome speeches.\nThe theme of the initiative is Smart 
 Energy Solutions: When Industry Meets Academia\, which is consistent with 
 the 7th edition of IEEE PES Day on the theme Empowering Electric Mobility 
 Innovation. Through keynote speeches\, interactive sessions\, and discussi
 ons\, the event aims to foster innovation and advancements in the academy 
 and industry\, while also promoting the PES&#39;s mission to be the leading pr
