 ocated in Hammond on May 1st\, 2024. Digital Crossroad started out with a 
 105\,000-square-foot building that replaced the existing coal-fired power 
 plant just south of Chicago which was completed in 2020. [NWI.com](https:/

 existing facility is full and so the company plans to add another 180\,000
  sq ft building and 20MW in the second phase. The site can reportedly supp
 ort up to 100MW via a dedicated substation.\n\nCustomers of the facility r
 eportedly include a ‘publicly traded firm with a global presence’ and 
 a ‘top 10 content delivery network client’.\n\nAttendance is limited t
 o 20 people. If we reach the limit and you are not able to reserve please
